The Eagles Golf Society - (BTPO Club)

The Eagles Golf Society (EGS)    are friendly Society founded in 2015, but has ran under different names in the past. We currently hold our meetings in the

BT & PO club in Ballymena (one of our proud sponsors along with Brook Supplies Ahoghill). Our Society gets together once a month from March to October, playing many different courses across the north and south of Ireland. A weekend away is organised for every September to stay and play at the venues. Our members handicaps range from 12 through to 36 and with an age range of low to high (just like the handicaps).  Each month there are Stableford, longest drive and nearest the pin competitions, with prizes awarded to the winners, in the form of points (this goes towards the Golfer of The Year competition). There is also a cash prize for winning each outing. Each outing is followed by the awards presentation and a meal either at the venue or a local pub/restaurant. If you are interested in finding out more or wish to come along and play with a view to joining EGS please click on the link on the 'Contact Us' page .
